We have been getting questions regarding the best camera, lenses, and what gear we use for our shots & videos. We bought our camera gear in June 2018 before heading on a 2 week long trip to the Canadian Rockies.

Lens: We use the kit lenses that our camera came with. One of our lenses is a 16-50 millimeter. Our other lense is 70-210 millimeter.
Tripod: We started off with a phone tripod and needed to upgrade. We then used a larger tripod that wasn’t strong enough to keep up with some strong winds. We upgraded to a Manfrotto tripod and it’s great. We love it because we can connect our phone to act like a remote to take photos of us both.

GoPro: We have gone through a lot of different GoPros and finally have the one we love. We use the GoPro hero 7 Black. Easy to download photos and videos immediately and has a screen that’s easy to use.

Drone: We use a DJI Mavic Air. It’s compact and flies great. The first place we ever flew it was in British Columbia and we didn’t realize how quickly the battery dies and it did a crash landing in the middle of the forest. We almost lost it for foreverrrrrr!!
